Aromatherapy Of The Goddess IV
If I were asked to choose a favorite subject to write about, I would have to say that subject is Love. Love fuels the soul. Love inspires and intoxicates. And, love can infuriate. My first dabbling with Aromatherapy use for purpose and intent, was in the area of Love. Not only can Aromatherapy be used for healing but it has, since the time of the Goddess religions been used for intent and purpose. From Prosperity to Love, those who studied the ways of the Goddess knew what Herbs and Essential Oils to use to gain these things. Women knew what Essential Oils to wear to attract a man. They knew what Essential Oils to wear to heighten desire and could literally Enchant a man by their use.For some Love comes easy, for others it is a difficult, painful process. We question, “isn’t there something I can do to help me find love, have a relationship”. Outside of working on yourself, emotionally and spiritually, sometimes there are blocks that have been keeping you from Love. These blocks are external, created by negative energy and bad intent, sometimes on the part of someone else. Such barriers need to be removed. But never reversed with more bad intent. Whatever you put out, you receive threefold. Never, ever inflict your will and desire on a particular man or woman, to obtain Love in your life. It will backfire and you will lose.
Candle Magic is great used with Essential Oils and Incense for removing barriers to Love, protecting Love and healing Love. A Love Uncrossing Candle burned on a Friday night before a New Moon is most effective. All uncrossing, banishing intent and magic should be done before a New Moon, when the moon is getting smaller. The object is to decrease the barriers. Increasing Love, protecting Love, healing Love, should be done before a Full Moon, when it is increasing.
I don’t like to give too much advice in the area of Magic. I feel it is not something that someone should practice with out a good base of knowledge and the full belief that it can and does work. As with any intent you must believe that it will come to pass. I have written frequently on the effect of negative thoughts. They are useless, wasteful and only bring more negativity. When it comes to Love, however, I think we can all use a little help sometimes. So, I will venture to put out here a few hints and suggestions for obtaining Love through Aromatherapy.
Attraction is the fuel to Love. A very powerful fuel at best, for attraction leads to passion. Men and Women are attracted by different scents. Women may have great success with Gardenia, Ginger, Jasmine, Lavendar, Musk and Neroli Essential Oils. Gardenia is a very powerful and magnetic Essential Oil. Ginger is a powerful aphrodisiac. Jasmine will attract a more Spiritual Love than physical. Lavendar is a very powerful attractant for men. Centuries ago it was used by prostitutes to magically attract their clients. Neroli, when placed between the breasts becomes a magnet for attraction. Gardenia and Jasmine are both Feminine Essential Oils, Ruled by Venus and of the Element Water. Ginger is a Masculine Essential Oil, ruled by Mars and of the Element Fire.
For Men, Musk, Patchouli, Bay, Vetivert and Violet Essential Oils are powerful attractants for Women. Musk is highly magnetic for both sexes, it is considered the Universal Sex Scent. Patchouli is a wonderful earthy scent that Men enjoy wearing and Women find intoxicating. Violet stimulates attraction and lust. Bay is a masculine scent ruled by the Deity Eros! Vetivert and Violet are both ruled by Venus.Other Essential Oils that can be used in the Attraction of Love include, Cinnamon, Lemon Verbena, Mimosa, Orange, Orris, Rose, Sweet Pea and Vanilla. Burning Incense is another way to attract Love. Patchouli, Cinnamon, Orris, Mayan Copal, Lavendar, Queen Of The Meadow, Quassia, Thyme, Vetivert and Yerba Mate are among the great Herbs useful for that purpose. When setting out to attract Love through Aromatherapy it is recommended to first Purify yourself and your home. This should be done before using Aromatherapy for all purposes of Intent. A good Purification Incense and Purification Bath are advised. Purification will help to remove any blocks to receiving Love. Following your Purification Ritual burning Incense for Attraction, wearing Essential Oils and a Ritual Bath for Love are all suggested. Nothing is immediate mind you, when it comes to Love. But as you begin to practice and focus your Intent, things will shift. One day you may wake and find yourself in a relationship. Once you have that someone special in your life, don’t stop focusing your Intent or your ability to enhance your desirability. Now is when you came have fun with the Essential Oils and Herbs that are great for increasing Passion and Lust.
Years ago, I burned a Love Uncrossing Candle made for me by a Wiccan friend. I had not had anyone special in my life for a while and felt there were blocks in that area of my life. Four days after I burnt the candle, I did a Tarot reading and asked the Tarot if I would meet someone, when and what he would be like. My reading told me that I would meet a Cancer Man within days, we would tall, handsome and dark. Four nights later, he walked through the door of a nightclub I frequented. I knew the moment I saw him, that I would never be the same. I was right. He touched my life in many wonderful ways, he was my friend and my lover for three and half years. He will always be in my heart, and remain my friend, though we realized our Love was not meant to be. I have always attributed him being in my life with that Love Uncrossing Candle.
Love comes when you least expect it, when you begin to focus on all the good that is in your life, rather than the lack of that someone special, you prepare yourself to receive love. Never come from a place of lack. Always come from Abundance. Fill your life up and love will come knocking on your door. Meanwhile burn a little Incense, light a Candle, take a Love Bath and make yourself ready to answer the door!
